Traunstein / Zarrentin, 23.05.2025
- Energy Partners GmbH from Traunstein has successfully completed its third joint photovoltaic project with JYSK SE.
- A photovoltaic roof system with an output of 750 kWp (kilowatt peak) was installed on the roof of the logistics centre in Zarrentin am Schaalsee (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania).
This new system will further promote the sustainable expansion of energy supply in the logistics sector.
In recent months, Energy Partners GmbH from Traunstein has successfully implemented three PV projects on the roofs of three JYSK logistics centres. The third project, which has now been completed, is a 750 kWp photovoltaic system on the logistics centre in Zarrentin am Schaalsee in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Previously, a 750 kWp system in Kammlach (Unterallgäu) was commissioned in March 2025, followed by a 453 kWp system at the logistics centre in Homberg (Efze, Schwalm-Eder district), which was connected to the grid at the beginning of May 2025.
‘The completion of the third project for JYSK in Zarrentin marks a successful conclusion to our collaboration. The three projects are an outstanding example of how we can sustainably increase the energy efficiency of logistics sites and guarantee favourable energy prices in the long term through the targeted use of photovoltaic solutions. To optimise this even further, the topic of battery storage is also being considered at the sites,’ says Matthias Giller, Managing Director of Energy Partners GmbH. ‘Our customers not only benefit from a long-term, cost-effective and green energy supply, but also make an important contribution to achieving their ESG goals and reducing CO₂ emissions.’
Daniel Schöniger, Logistics Director at JYSK SE, also emphasises the importance of the three projects: ‘Sustainability and energy efficiency play a central role in our corporate strategy. The integration of photovoltaic systems at our logistics centres is an important step towards reducing our ecological footprint and optimising our energy supply at the same time. With Energy Partners GmbH, we are delighted to have a reliable partner at our side who supports our vision of a more sustainable future.’
Through the successful implementation of these three photovoltaic projects, Energy Partners GmbH has made an important contribution to the sustainable energy supply of the JYSK logistics centres and at the same time created the basis for a sustainable energy infrastructure.
